Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation is carried out with the objective of analyzing the administrative, accounting and financial system of the non-financial associations of the Popular and Solidarity Economy of the canton Quito, sector 3, of the province of Pichincha. Year 2018, to diagnose the environment in which they carry out their activities. 130 active associations are concentrated in the assigned sector. The research was bibliographic-documentary and field, since information was taken on the current regulations that regulate this type of organizations, information, data and figures were collected both from the website of the Superintendence of Economy, Popular and Solidarity and from electronic documents that enabled the successful completion of the proposed analysis. On the other hand, a survey was applied to the representatives of the assigned associations, which made it possible to determine that in the majority of associations the management carried out in the administrative, accounting and financial field is not adequate, since this is done empirically, because the applied methodology is based on the experience acquired by those who are in charge of the management of these organizations.
