Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this research project is to promote entrepreneurship and the associativity of the tourism sector of the urban parish of Caranqui through the participatory construction of a productive development plan for the tourism sector. The methodology consisted in the development of meetings, workshops and surveys with the direct involvement of groups of entrepreneurs, local authorities, tourists and citizens. A current analysis of the parish of Caranqui, a tourist productive diagnosis and associative entrepreneurial capacities, as well as a characterization of the demand and study of the tourist offer, whose results indicate the existence of favorable conditions for the promotion of tourism productive development as well as potential tourist areas that have been determined. The productive development plan, being a planning instrument for the achievement of the vision of tourism development, has as a result the determination of lines of tourism productive development with a productive economic, political, institutional and social cultural approach, territorialized public policies and strategies to strengthen the incidence public in the tourist productive field and the capacities of local entrepreneurs.
