Propuesta urbana para espacios públicos de la ciudad de Loja, sector de estudio Gran Colombia

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to analyze the use and ways of inhabiting a commercial public space in the city of Loja; with the purpose of understanding the context of the place to be able to propose strategies and suitable spaces to solve the urban conflicts present in it. It seeks to determine the way of life, the urban points of greatest influx of people and the various urban conflicts present that affect the deterioration of the quality and perception of the public space of the sector; where the relation of the physical, spatial, social and normative scopes grant their habitat. As the context of the place presents two different scenarios in the relationship day (commercial activities, influx of people, vehicular traffic, insecurity) and night (inactivity, empty spaces, insecurity) the determining characteristics that the sector presents are required. All this analysis will help to subsequently present the proposal for intervention of adequate public space for the study sector.
