Situación de inmigrantes Venezolanos en el sector servicios de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract:Due to the great wave of Venezuelan international migrants that has arisen in recent years, several problems have been generated, so this work aims to know the labor reality in which migrants living in the city of Loja, starting with an analysis of Venezuelan migration in the region until reaching the city of Loja, and how local migration processes have been experienced during its history. For the results, it was based on personalized interviews of the qualitative method, which allows us to obtain a vision from the perspective of those involved for a better understanding of their arrival and work adaptation to the city, for this, 4 moments were analyzed in the work environment of the migrants, these are: their labor beginnings, labor adaptation, employment situation and finally their labor expectations. The results of this work show us how the skills they obtained in their early work facilitated their insertion in the local economy, allowing them a better economic situation, however they have not been fully assimilated by the labor market, suffering various labor problems.
