Abstract

Abstract:The topic proposed by the UTPL for this research work: "Comparative analysis of strategies and skills for the development of the metacognitive process in Religious School Education at the Tenth of basic general education, Third of Baccalaureate and Teachers in the school year 2019-2020 . Whose general objective is to identify the metacognitive development in the academic and formative processes of Religious Education of the educational institutions of Ecuador through a comparative study of learning and academic skills, which help to verify the effect of the application in this subject and improve the use of metacognitive strategies in student learning. The research was carried out in the Marista Private Educational School of the city of Quito through the application of LASSI questionnaires to eighty students in two courses and a CEMEDEPU questionnaire to four teachers of the subject of religion. The research result shows that students are aware of the importance of their future, they see their studies as transcendental, which is why metacognitive strategies must be applied to their teachings to have meaningful learning.
