| Zusammenfassung: | Abstract: The main objective of this research is to evaluate economically the ecosystem service of recreation and existence of the Reserva Ecológica Arenillas (REA). Using the contingent valuation method and the use of a discrete choice model (logit), the probability of payment of 384 people from the city of Loja for the use of the recreation and existence service of the REA was analyzed. The main results obtained in this research identify 67% of respondents are included to pay for the use of the recreational services of the REA, at the same time, 59% of respondents are included to pay for the existence of the REA. The income, education, age and knowledge variables determine the payment arrangements, estimated at $ 3.05 for the use of the recreation service and at $ 4.97 for the existence of the reservation. |
| Beschreibung: | Resumen: La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal valorar económicamente el servicio ecosistémico de recreación y existencia de la Reserva Ecológica Arenillas (REA). Mediante el método de valoración contingente y la utilización de un modelo de elección discreta (logit), se analizó la probabilidad de pago de 384 personas de la ciudad de Loja por el uso del servicio de recreación y existencia de la REA. Los principales resultados obtenidos en esta investigación muestran que el 67% de los encuestados están dispuestos a pagar por el uso de los servicios recreativos de la REA, al mismo tiempo, el 59% de los encuestados están dispuestos a pagar por la existencia de la REA. Las variables ingreso, educación, edad y conocimiento determinan las disposiciones de pago, estimadas en $3,05 por el uso del servicio de recreación y en $ 4,97 por la existencia de la reserva. |
