| Abstract: | Abstract: We identify and isolate secondary metabolites from leaves of the Lepechinia paniculataspecies, obtained through dechlorophyllization of the ethyl acetate extract, using various types of chromatography to isolate the compounds and spectral techniques for their identification, in turn comparing them with various citations. Bibliographic. The compounds that were isolated were a sesquiterpene called Guaiol and a flavone apigenin 7,4 dimethyl ether, both molecules are of great importance for their biological activity that contributes to the human being. |
| Description: | Resumen: Identificamos y aislamos metabolitos secundarios a partir de hojas de la especie Lepechinia paniculata, obtenidos a través de la desclorofilacion del extracto de acetato de etilo, utilizando varios tipos de cromatografía para aislar los compuestos y técnicas espectrales para su identificación comparándolos a su vez con varias citas bibliográficas. Los compuestos que se aislaron fueron un sesquiterpeno llamado Guaiol y una flavona apigenina 7,4 dimetil éter, ambas moléculas son de gran importancia por su actividad biológica que aporta al ser humano. |
