Abstract: The teaching process in educational institutions are changing at an accelerated pace thanks to the new current student demands as a result of the change of era and advances in research, this has motivated the search for new pedagogical methodologies in the teaching-learning process, with this background raised the present investigation with the following title Principles of Social Constructivism in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, in the María Florinda Armijos Basic Education School of Barrio Gueledel, San Antonio de Cumbe parish of Cantón Saraguro, in order to investigate the different constructivist principles and the contributions to the approach of the pedagogical proposal, for this, bibliographic research was carried out in different sources such as books, brochures and scientific articles extracted from academic Google, to search for relationships and then paraphrase the information, with this it was allowed to have a lot of information used in the This research, after carrying out the present work, it can be stated that there is a lot of information in the different constructivist principles that are very useful and are a reason for analysis for the approach of the pedagogical proposal.
