dc.description	Resumen: En la presente investigación se evaluó la composición química del aceite esencial de la especie Ocimum basilicum, el método que se aplicó para la extracción del aceite fue arrastre por vapor. La identificación y cuantificación de los compuestos presentes en el aceite esencial se realizó mediante CG-EM y CG-FID. Se identificaron 15 compuestos con un porcentaje de identificación de 87.5%. Los compuestos mayoritarios fueron: (Z)-Ethyl cinnamate (55.9%), Linalool (10.03%), epi-α-Cadinol (5.2%), (Z)-Methyl cinnamate (4.8%), (α-trans-Bergamotene (2.2%). Con un renimiento de aceite esencial de 0.046 %.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: In this research, the chemical composition of the essential oil of the Ocimum Basilicum species was evaluated. The method applied to extract the oil was steam entrainment. The identification and quantification of the compounds present in the essential oil was carried out using CG-EM and CG-FID. 15 compounds were identified with an identification percentage of 87.5%. The main compounds were: (Z)-Ethyl cinnamate (55.9%), Linalool (10.03%), epi-α-Cadinol (5.2%), (Z)-Methyl cinnamate (4.8%), (α-trans-Bergamotene (2.2%). With an essential oil yield of 0.046%.	es_ES
