Abstract

Abstract: The rainwater network cadastre collects the information necessary for the construction, evaluation and maintenance of existing networks. Given that the infrastructure of the UTPL campus has increased and the information about the existing rainwater system is scarce, this work was developed with the objective of evaluating the hydraulic capacity of the system and to have a cadastral information base that helps the maintenance and decision making when executing new infrastructure works in the campus premises. For this purpose, information was collected in technical cards where the information of each structure that conforms the system was registered and it was geographically referenced and to fixed points in the surroundings of the campus. Then, the hydraulic capacity of the system was evaluated in the SewerGEMS software for a return period of 5 years with the intensity equation given by the INAMHI code M0033 and a concentration time of 15 minutes. The results obtained show that the campus has a mixed network, which is composed of 81 inspection wells and 2524.14 meters of PVC pipe.
