Abstract

Abstract: The history of women gives foundation to the reason and creation of feminism. Both are related and without a doubt, this social movement was born as a result of the critical moments that women went through and that unfortunately they continue to face. The rise of feminism began in the 18th century to the 21st century. leaving momentous moments, such as the right to vote for women.The present investigative work aims to know the impact generated by the new feminist movements that emerged in social networks, for which the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Ni Una Menos, Me Too and Time's Up movements are taken. The study is quantitative, and it is done through the Fanpage karma tool, in a period from January to March 2019, where data related to the number of followers, number of publications, among others are obtained. Thanks to digital media, women have felt the freedom to report different cases, for example, harassment, abuse, physical and psychological violence. Their stories have traveled the world faster thanks to the Internet.
