Abstract

Abstract:The Alshi-October 9 parish, Morona canton, Morona Santiago province, year 2020, set out to design a solid waste management plan. The methodology applied in this work was descriptive research, and surveys, interviews, observation visits and existing information on the management of household solid waste from the Municipal GAD of the Morona Canton and, in the Parish Development Plan, were used for data collection. and Territorial Organization of the Alshi parish October 9. When analyzing the data obtained in the surveys, it is determined that 72% of the inhabitants do take advantage of their organic waste, which is used as compost or animal feed. Different parishes close to ours with the same characteristics were analyzed, in which the arithmetic mean was applied to the data found, giving us as a result that 52.79% of the inhabitants generate more organic waste; The same that comparing with the results of the survey, we intuit that it is used by a large part of the population for agricultural purposes.
