Abstract

Abstract: The present research work is to carry out an analysis of the Profile of the tourist in the segment of first and second category of the city of Loja, province of Loja, year 2019, to carry out the proposed strategies with to reactivate the tourist activity in the city.The research was carried out in the first instance with the theoretical foundation, followed by the collection of field bibliographic and documentary information to be analyzed, with the objective of having a wide knowledge on the current situation of the city of Loja with regard to first and second category. Later, the topic of methodology and the application of surveys to the hotel establishments of the city is addressed, in order to determine the profile of the tourist who visits the city. Finally, according to the results obtained, the following strategies are proposed: Biosafety Protocols for the tourist plant in the city of Loja, Increase overnight stays in the accommodation and training establishments for language staff.
