| Abstract: | Abstract: The Curriculum seeks to make students competent in the use of oral and written language for communication; however, many students view the teaching of the language with apathy; therefore, the present work sought to analyze the benefits of the use of flashcards in learning to verify their effectiveness in reducing barbarism, as a mean of facilitating the correction of this frequent diction vice. Flashcards of 10x12cm were used: 20 contained words and 27 graphics; plus, 20 e-flashcards via Anki software. The activities were carried out with ninth-year EGB students from the La Troncal University Private Educational Unit. After the study, it is concluded that flashcards are a valuable teaching tool, because it uses multiple inputs of information considering different learning styles. 93% of the students estimate they have reduced the use of barbarism; in addition, they mention that, as didactic material, flashcards are attractive and allow the realization of fun activities for learning. |
| Description: | Resumen: El Currículo procura que los estudiantes sean personas competentes en el uso de la lengua oral y escrita para la comunicación; sin embargo, muchos discentes miran con apatía la enseñanza de la lengua; por tanto, con el presente trabajo se buscó analizar los beneficios del uso de las tarjetas rápidas (flashcards) en el aprendizaje y comprobar su eficacia en la disminución de barbarismos, como medio para facilitar la corrección de este vicio de dicción tan frecuente. Se utilizó flashcards de 10x12cm: 20 contenían palabras y 27, gráficos; además, 20 e-flashcards a través del software Anki. Las actividades se realizaron con estudiantes de noveno año de EGB de la Unidad Educativa Particular Universitaria de La Troncal. Tras el estudio se concluye que las tarjetas rápidas son una valiosa herramienta en la enseñanza, porque utiliza múltiples entradas de información considerando los diferentes estilos de aprendizaje. El 93% de los alumnos estiman haber reducido el uso de barbarismos; además, mencionan que, como material didáctico, las tarjetas rápidas son atractivas y permiten la realización de actividades divertidas para el aprendizaje. |
