Abstract

Abstract:The research: "Continuous training of high school teachers in experimental sciences, in educational institutions of Ecuador", was carried out in private educational centers in the city of Loja, the main objective was to evaluatethe current situation of continuous teacher training as a requirement basic for capacity development. Likewise, the degree of knowledge of teachers regarding training provided by the Ministry of Education was identified. In addition, the perspective of the teacher, the contradictions in private educational centers, between pedagogical principles and the relationship with teacher training were explored. This was carried out from the development of a questionnaire to detect the continuous training needs of 10 teachers who teach subjects in the first,second and third year of high school. The problem that was detected in teachers was that the high costs of higher education and training studies are the main obstacle they face in their profession; followed by lack of time and lack of information in promoting these training courses.
