Propuesta de calificación y certificación energética del centro provincial Ambato, perteneciente a la Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, ubicado en la ciudad de Ambato

Abstract

Abstract: For this work, the energy qualification and certification proposal of the Ambato Provincial Center belonging to the Particular Technical University of Loja was proposed, using computer tools recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, as far as possible transposed to the conditions present in Ecuador and in a particular way to the location of the building under study.The proposed objectives were approached by gathering information on the characteristics of the thermal envelope,construction elements, facilities,and external climatic conditions.Based on the energy certifications obtained from the building under study using the simplified methods CERMA and CE3X, several improvement alternatives were contrasted to optimize energy efficiency, proposing the intervention of the thermal envelope in the first instance and subsequently the implementation of equipment energy efficient.Considering the improved qualifications, the different alternatives from the technical and economic point of view were analyzed and compared tooptimize the energy performance of the building, encourage environmental sustainability in society and maintainthe comfort of the building in every moment.
