Identificación de sitios potenciales para la implementación de zonas de parqueo de bicicletas en el área urbana de la ciudad de Loja.

Abstract

Abstract: One effective strategy for the promotion of cycling as urban transport is the design and implementation of cycling infrastructure, such as cycle paths, bicycle parking and bicycle share systems. The spatial location of these infrastructures is a key aspect to secure their success. In this contribution it propose to set up strategics points for the implementation of bicycle parking in the urban area of Loja. In addition it present a GIS tool that allows to model the service level of bicycle lending stations, determine the optimal routes to design a bicycle lending stations, and optimize their location using network analysis and localization algorithms - assignment using open data. As a result, they re identified 23 potentials stops distributed in three zones, where they can be set bicycle parking.
