dc.description	Resumen: Ladetección oportuna de cáncer de piel es importante para establecer el manejo adecuado, disminuyendo la morbilidad y mortalidad. Una herramienta que facilita el diagnóstico es la teledermatología,que se beneficia de la tecnología por su carácter visual.El objetivo de esta revisión es determinar la fiabilidad y limitaciones de la teledermatología en el diagnóstico de cáncer de piel.Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en las bases de datos PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane, Scielo, Lilacs, Elsevier; se analizaron 11 artículos que reunían los criterios de inclusión. La pregunta de investigación se centró en la concordancia diagnóstica entre teledermatología y la consulta habitual;y en las limitaciones para su implementación. La mayoría de los estudios analizados establecen una notable concordancia diagnóstica entre teledermatología y la consulta cara a cara. Así,se puede considerar a la teledermatología como una herramienta confiable para el diagnóstico de cáncer de piel en áreas rurales y remotas,en donde el acceso a la salud es limitado.Las principales limitaciones son la conexión a internet y la calidad de la imagen.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: Timely detection of skin cancer is important to establish proper management, reducing morbidity and mortality. A tool that facilitates diagnosis is teledermatology, which benefits from technology due to its visual nature. The objective of this review is to determine the reliability and limitations of teledermatology in the diagnosis of skin cancer. A systematic search was carried out in the databases PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane, Scielo, Lilacs, Elsevier; 11 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed. The research question focused on the diagnostic agreement between teledermatology and the usual consultation; and in the limitations for its implementation. Most of the studies analyzed establish a remarkable diagnostic concordance between teledermatology and face-to-face consultation. Thus, teledermatology can be considered as a reliable tool for the diagnosis of skin cancer in rural and remote areas, where access to healthcare is limited. The main limitations are the internetconnection and the image quality.	es_ES
