Systematization of pedagogycal experiences in the EFL teaching training program

Abstract

Abstract:The theme is Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the EFL teaching training program. The main objective is to reflect and describe the teaching practice experience acquired during the teacher training program developed in General Basic Education and Bachillerato in public education establishments. This study is focused on the analysis, reflection, and description of the teaching experiences gained in pre-professional practices as an observer and as the main teacher. This process was developed into two phases. In the first phase, ten English classes were observed to analyze and reflect on the actual education context. In the second phase, the practitioner carried out the role of the main teacher conducting nine classes onsite and online teaching. Additionally, planning, linguistic aspects, learning management, and teaching methodology aspects used in the classrooms were analyzed. The principal conclusion is the observation of classes in General Basic Education and Bachillerato in public establishments gave me the opportunity to analyze and think about how classes are performed, how to plan good lessons to be taught, identify persistent problems of students, and the proper use of educational materials.
