Abstract: Abstract: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ecuador was forced to close the educational institutions and the education began to develop in a virtual environment, hence, the present study named " Ecuadorian public high school teachers ́ perceptions on technological resources used by teachers in their EFL classrooms during the Covid-19 pandemic. ; aimed to analyze and identify the used technological resources, determine the frequency of use in the classes and be informed about teachers' perceptions regarding technologicalresources. This study was carried out with 10 educators of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) from public high schools in Ibarra, Atuntaqui, Quito, Azogues, and Cuenca. Throughout this inquiry, a mixed methodwas applied, both quantitative and qualitative obtaining through surveys and interviews percentage data as well as valuable information to be analyzed. Teachers have adapted themselves to teach onlineusing a variety of technological resources; therefore, according to the resultsit was concluded that the use of technological resources in EFL classes during the Covid-19 pandemic worked and had a positive impact on the teaching-learning process of English in public high schools of Ecuador.
Description: Resumen: Ante la pandemia del Covid-19, Ecuador fue obligado a cerrar instituciones educativas y la educación paso a desarrollarse en un ámbito virtual, por ello, el presente estudio llamado Percepciones de los docentes de colegios públicos del Ecuador sobre el uso de recursos tecnológicos en sus clases de Inglés durante la pandemia del Covid-19 ;se desarrolló con el objetivo de analizar e identificar los recursos tecnológicos usados, determinar la frecuencia de uso y conocer las percepciones de los docentesal respecto. Este estudio se realizócon 10 profesores de Ingléscomo Lengua Extranjerade colegios públicos de Ibarra, Atuntaqui, Quito, Azogues, y Cuenca. Se aplicó método mixto, cuantitativo ycualitativo obteniendo por medio de encuestas yentrevistasdatos porcentuales,así comoinformación importante a ser analizada. Los docentes se han adaptado a la enseñanza en línea usando varios recursos tecnológicos; por lo tanto, según los resultados, se concluyó que usar dichos recursosen las clases de Ingléscomo Lengua Extranjera durante la pandemia del Covid-19 funcionó teniendoun impacto positivo en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de Inglés en colegiospúblicos de Ecuador.
