Análisis y puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural inmaterial del cantón Calvas con fines turísticos, año 2020

Abstract

Abstract: This investigation called" Analysis and enhancement of the intangible cultural heritage of Calvas Canton for touristic purposes, year 2020" was developed in Calvas canton, province of Loja. This investigation begins by stablishing was is the current situation which the canton finds. It was possible to identify the natural and cultural touristicattractions that it possesses. Subsequently, usingtool such as an in-depth interview and a strategic SWOT analysis, it was possible to determinate what is the level of trascendence that the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of the Calvas canton has had throgh the years, what customs and traditions are still practiced, which of these have lost importance throughthe years and what reasons influenced on their loss.Based on the results obtained, a touristicaction proposal has been developed, creating a touristicproduct called "Route of the Churches" to safeguard the Calvas PCI, in which communication, marketing and public relationships areproposed to publicize the product. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations derived from the investigation are presented.
