Abstract

Abstract: This research work focuses in the sentence Series C No.298 Case Gonzales Lluy and Others vs. Ecuador, issued on September 1, 2015 by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and its link to Human Rights subject and the Sustainable Development Goal No. 3 "Health and Well-being". The study begins with a literature review that provides the document technical support, in which the protected rights are defined by SDG 3, these are the Right to Health and the Right to Access to the Health System, analyzing their background, definitions, characteristics, progress and setbacks. This is an exploratory and projective legal research, which among other research methods it mainly focuses on the exegetical method which allows to analyze various facts that contributed as indicators and perceptions for the analysis of the SDG3 progress; determining that with the sentence Series C No. 298 the Ecuadorian state promoted respect HIV patients rights, contributing to the goal 3.3 and 3.8 of the SDG3.
