Abstract

Abstract: The present work entitled: Principles of constructivism in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the José María Román School located in the city of Riobamba, had the general objective: to explain the contribution of constructivism to student learning as the foundation of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal. The document review method was used when analyzing the Pedagogical Proposal, in which no field samples were obtained and the content analysis technique was applied in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal with the principles of constructivism. It is concluded that constructivism contributes significantly to the teaching-learning process of the educational establishment, in order to demonstrate the importance of the knowledge acquired by the student's profile. In the same way, the importance of the Constructivist Pedagogical Model is emphasized, since it has become the primary basis of education, and that also strengthens every educational institution, and gives us the guideline to improve our development as teachers within the classroom and, therefore, improve the academic performance and level of knowledge of the students of the Institution.
