Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation of thesis entitled "Restoration of the bay of the fourth nave belonging to the Monastery of the Mothers Conceptas in the city of Loja" is a study of great importance because it proposes a restoration in the face of the loss and abandonment of the architectural heritage, in addition to the need to know the current state and the possible interventions for its conservation through the theoretical recognition of the different positions of restoration that accompany the proposal. The restoration is characterized by not being invasive with the rest of the monastery, differentiating the current intervention from the old, which takes into account the needs of the community of religious and the National Institute of Heritage and Culture that seek a source of economic resources for the maintenance of the monastery over time. With the aforementioned, all the objectives set out in the present study are fulfilled.
