Abstract

Abstract: The subject of this end-of-degree project was The process of admissibility of contentious procedures in the Regional Systems for the Protection of Human Rights, a comparative study. In which it was sought to analyze and compare the admissibility processes of the main Regional Courts of Human Rights, such as the Inter-American, European, African, and Asian systems, with special emphasis on the Inter-American and European. The study was carried out using the qualitative method, using tools such as: descriptive analysis, historical analysis, hermeneutic analysis, and comparative study; and techniques such as the signing and the interview. The results obtained were positive compared to our hypothesis, and indeed the European System turned out to be more agile in terms of admissibility processes for contentious proceedings, unlike the Inter-American System, which had a longer time to issue a sentence.
