Abstract

Abstract:Manufacturing companies contribute to the revitalization of the country's economy through the purchase of raw materials necessary to produce goods and services, to be marketed later. In addition, they generate employment contributing to the socioeconomic development of the population. The guarantee, permanence and stability of these companies in the market is the result of financial and economic information, whichallows knowing their situation and position in relation to their obligations and opportunities. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the economic-financial structure of manufacturing companies in the province of Guayas, period 2019. Theresearch design is non-experimental, descriptive and quantitative. In this study, the financial information of 459 companies is analyzed. The results show a good level of activity in small, medium and large companies; however, microenterprises have a low level of activity, affecting their level of liquidity and profitability, in addition, they have a high level of indebtedness and a low level of autonomy, mainly in the subsectors of food products, clothing, printing and reproduction of recordings, chemicalsubstances and products, and rubber and plastic products.
