El fortalecimiento de la institucionalidad y su influencia en la gobernabilidad durante el gobierno de Rafael Correa

Abstract

Abstract: The general objective of this research work is to analyze the new institutional framework adopted during the government of former President Rafael Correa. The creation of loopholes in the main institutions that flattened the ground to ensure easy governance is also analyzed. Finally, it examines the main economic and social policies and how they affected the political stability of this government, thus making clear the relationship between institutionality and governance. The methodology used consisted of an analysis through a qualitative approach and it is a descriptive investigation since it is in charge of characterizing a phenomenon to clarify its origin. The main results of this investigation is that the government of the Citizen Revolution began its mandate by changing the arena of the game (Polity) by forming a National Assembly and the elaboration of a Magna Carta where the foundations on which it will govern are laid. In addition, it uses the creation and modification of institutions that ensure a stable presidential term.
