| Abstract: | Abstract: Bridges are important structures in road infrastructure networks since they allow the free circulation of people and products, allowing the socioeconomic development of a country; however, many rural areas are cut off in winter, such as the Guandos sector of the Alamor parish, Puyango canton; since the Guandos river grows considerably obstructing the road. Therefore, the present work was developed with the objective of carrying out the studies and designs for the vehicular bridge over the Guandos River in the Guandos site, Puyango canton. The hydological study of the drainage basin was carried out and the optimal dimensions for the bridge were determined, the structural study was carried out based on the philosophy of Design by Load and Resistance Factors (LRFD), later the analysis of unit prices and the project budget. Finally, a bridge design proposal is presented that meets the technical specifications of current regulations. |
| Description: | Resumen: Los puentes son estructuras importantes en las redes de infraestructura vial puesto que permiten la libre circulación de personas y productos permitiendo el desarrollo socioeconómico de un país; sin embargo, muchas zonas rurales quedan incomunicadas en época de invierno, tal como el sector Guandos de la parroquia Alamor, cantón Puyango; ya que la quebrada Guandos crece considerablemente obstruyendo la vía. Por tanto, el presente trabajo se desarrolló con el objetivo de realizar los estudios y diseños para el puente vehicular sobre la quebrada Guandos en el sitio Guandos, cantón Puyango. Se realizó el estudio hidrológico de la cuenca de drenaje y se determinó las dimensiones óptimas para el puente, se ejecutó el estudio estructural basando en la filosofía de Diseño por Factores de Carga y Resistencia (LRFD), posteriormente se realizó el análisis de precios unitarios y presupuesto del proyecto. Finalmente se presenta una propuesta de diseño de puente que cumple con las especificaciones técnicas de las normativas vigentes. |
