Abstract

Abstract: The general objective of this study entitled Family-school relationship in children 3 to 5 years old is to strengthen the family-school relationship in early education institutions through innovative strategies that promote communication and participation. In addition, in order to respond to the research problem and fulfill the objectives, a methodology with a quantitative-descriptive design and approach was used, where the population sample consisted of ten parents and ten teachers from two early childhood education institutions in the city of Catamayo, in the province of Loja. Likewise, both the survey and the interview were used as study instruments, which allowed the consolidation of the first and second specific objective, in addition, they allowed obtaining valuable results by determining that the interaction between family and school is a dynamic process that needs joint efforts to be effective, for this, the teacher must act as a mediator and promote communication in order to achieve the development and educational success of children.
