Abstract

Abstract: The choice of career is an arduous and complex process that is influenced by various factors, speaking more specifically, the study is carried out on second-year high school students of the Kennedy parish, located in the city of Quito, province of Pichincha, where the factors that determine or affect the choice of the finance career will be determined. The results demonstrated are linked to sociocultural, economic and educational elements, thus resulting in choices that will impact the prospects for success of future graduates. Through qualitative and quantitative studies and their respective data collection through surveys and questionnaires, this will provide a greater degree of knowledge about the future career of young people, thus recognizing the importance of vocational guidance, the perception of financial stability and professional advancement in the Finance career. Therefore, the choice of a career in Finance in Kennedy Parish is severely influenced by the external and internal factors that the student experiences daily. We will seek to achieve connections between educational institutions to obtain greater opportunities for the continuing education of each student.
