Abstract

Abstract: This paper analyzes working capital optimization strategies and their impact on profitability in three Ecuadorian companies: LA GANGA R.C.A. S.A., PESPESCA S.A., and PINTURAS CONDOR S.A., which operate in the commercial and manufacturing sectors. Important topics were addressed, such as inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the cash conversion cycle. The study methodology is based on two approaches: quantitative and comparative, which analyze the working capital optimization strategies of the three companies under study. The main results of the study show that efficient management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventories improves the liquidity and financial stability of the selected companies. Furthermore, the findings reveal that proper working capital management reduces the cash conversion cycle and, in turn, increases business competitiveness.
