Abstract:.An occupational risk assessment was conducted using the methodology proposed by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (INSHT) as a reference, and applied at the marketing company Dicofhi Cia. Ltda. This risk assessment was carried out by obtaining information on a total of twenty-five jobs, their activities, and the location where they are carried out. The hazards were then identified and the risk analyzed to determine the risk estimate in terms of severity and likelihood of harm occurring. The risks were then assessed and determined whether they were significant, tolerable, significant, or intolerable. All of this was done using a risk matrix, where surveys, interviews, and data collection are crucial when proposing or implementing appropriate control measures. The results of this assessment determined that there is a greater presence of significant and intolerable estimates, therefore, improvements were proposed to reduce or eliminate the risks present in the marketing company.
