Abstract

Abstract:The main objective of this thesis was to design and implement a web-based system for the automated management of municipal services, including: Drinking Water Services, Appraisal and Cadastre Services, and Planning Services for the Cuyabeno Municipal Government (GAD). This system aims to improve the efficiency and quality of citizen service, reduce processing times and costs, and optimize the organization's internal processes. Therefore, the Scrum methodology was used and its implementation was implemented using web technology. Tests were also used to verify the system's usability and security under different conditions. The results demonstrated that the web-based system improved the efficiency and quality of citizen service, reducing waiting times for procedures, which allowed for the optimization of processes in the Municipal Government (GAD). Therefore, the platform enabled more effective information management and accurate tracking of procedures, ensuring the integrity and security of user data.
