Abstract

Abstract: In recent years, important events have occurred that impact education. It is worth remembering that years ago, the global health problem "COVID-19" emerged. This problem was considered the beginning of new changes and transformations that needed to be adapted to teaching. At this point, technology gave way to the implementation of new techniques and methods for learning. Thus, the objective of this work delves into research on the use of augmented reality through Quiver Vision as a mediating component in the teaching-learning process of reading and writing among students in basic general education. To this end, a quasi-experimental study was conducted. The study subjects consisted of 21 students, who constituted the entire population. A perception questionnaire, pre-test, and post-test were then administered, allowing quantitative and qualitative assessments to be obtained. A statistically positive result was obtained, concluding that the use of the applied tool facilitates the teaching and learning processes of reading and writing.
