Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the EFL Teaching Training Program

Abstract

Abstract: The project to systematize pre-professional practices, whose theme is the systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teacher training program, aimed to reflect and analyze the positive and negative pedagogical aspects of pre-professional practices as an EFL teacher. The qualitative method was used to carry out the systematization, providing information from two practicums for further systematization. The systematization was carried out by selecting classes in both elementary and high school education, applying observation techniques and experience as a primary teacher. Four pedagogical aspects were considered: planning, linguistic aspects, learning management, and methodology, taking into account the related sub-aspects, highlighting the main shortcomings in teaching English. From the systematization of the lessons, reflections were obtained in accordance with the aforementioned aspects and sub-aspects, which were scientifically substantiated to support and reinforce the research. Regarding the conclusion, the pedagogical aspects encompassed each of the guidelines that teachers must employ and follow to effectively implement the teaching-learning process.
