Abstract

Abstract: The Curricular Integration Work entitled Academic preferences in the subject of civil law and its link with Sustainable Development Goals No. 16 through the study of Ruling No. 035-15-SEP-CC , has a direct approach that establishes a clear connection between the principles, guarantee and fundamental rules of civil law and the rights protected by SDG 16, emphasizing the importance of access to justice and the strengthening of solid and transparent institutions. In the analysis of Ruling No. 035-15-SEP-CC, the Constitutional Court of Ecuador accepts the extraordinary action of protection and declares the violation of the constitutional right to due process with respect to the guarantee of the right to defense, as well as the right to effective judicial protection. In this work of Curricular Integration, it analyzed how the subject of civil law is related to the rights protected by SDG No. 16, in particular, the right to access to quality justice, legal certainty and effective judicial protection. Emphasizing the guarantee of these rights in the study of the sentence.
