Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on the relationship between family and school for children ages 3 to 5, with the sole objective of strengthening these ties through teaching strategies so that the family is involved in the child's educational growth. This research was conducted in the city of Cuenca with the help of teachers from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, using research and surveys directed at parents and teachers. Various methods were also used, such as analytical, synthetic, inductive, statistical, and descriptive methods; experimental and documentary techniques were also employed. According to the research, the family and school are important for a child's development, as the family is a fundamental pillar in early childhood education, and school is a place where teachers teach new academic and personal knowledge. That's why these two aspects must go together, as they are linked to specific teachings about child development, and if they work together, they will achieve their goal: contributing to the child's emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
