Abstract

Abstract: The following research work is based on the type of methodology applied in a qualitative research, aimed at nursing professionals, where the main goal is to publicize the different methods and techniques of qualitative research in nursing, which allow developing and acquiring knowledge and appropriate research qualities, in order to incorporate them into the diagnostic field, of humanized care and treatment. It is essential to be able to objectively assess the knowledge of students, on how to correctly systematize information on research topics, applying qualitative methodology, emphasizing its theoretical structure and thus recognizing what are the methods and techniques to use. This raises the following questions. Why is it important to focus nursing research on a qualitative method? The present research had a quantitative, descriptive and content analysis approach, where a semi-structured interview was conducted with 3 male students and 7 female students, of sixth, seventh and eighth cycle, of the period OCTOBER 2022 FEBRUARY 2023. The support of this work was based on the collection of information from the different databases, such as journals focused on the area of nursing, Scopus database with information aimed at qualitative research techniques in nursing, Google Scholar for searches of the different methods of qualitative research, this with the purpose of collecting updated and complete information, that allows a better application of this methodology in future nursing research.
