Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop a pedagogical proposal that strengthens the relationship between family and school through academic performance in sixth grade students of the Angustia Aragundi Educational Unit, period 2024-2025. The link between family and school will improve academic performance in students; since it will help to have a better relationship and adequate academic achievement. We worked on a sample of 40 parents of Basic General Education and 12 teachers. Of the educational unit "Angustia Aragundi", it is worth mentioning that for the development of the theoretical framework, we proceeded to define and show the importance of the family-school relationship in the academic performance of the students, the study methodology was based on the qualitative method and the interpretation of the data obtained, the statistical method and the survey as a technique to investigate the relationship between the family and the school, the research that was carried out on parents and teachers in the educational institution, its adequate organization and selection, the degree of impact on the recognition of the importance and gravitation in educational work. The results indicate a strong positive correlation between the level of family and school relationship, in addition, the application of strategies to strengthen academic performance in high school students. It is concluded that a student with motivation and consolidated habits and parental support will have an appropriate educational level.
