Abstract

Abstract: This dissertation examines in detail the ruling in the Noguera et al. V. Paraguay case from an impartial, critical and legal perspective, closely linked to human rights. The essence of this analysis focuses on safeguarding human dignity and promoting the full development of each individual. It focuses on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 16, which seeks to promote peaceful and inclusive societies, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. The Seriec_401 ruling of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights revealed violations of basic rights in the aforementioned case, directly related to the principles of SDG No. 16. The investigation highlights the lack of equitable access to education and health, the limitations in decent jobs and exclusion in political decision-making. This work not only analyzes the ruling from a legal perspective, but also contextualizes it with the sustainable development goals, thus contributing to a better understanding of the implications of human rights violations.
