Abstract

Abstract: This work "Academic preferences of law students and their link to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)" through the study of sentences" strengthens the professional training of the student, because it analyzes Sentence No. 2954-21-EP / 22 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, and how it links to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). It examines how this judicial decision corrected the violation of the right to appeal, guaranteeing access to justice. The research was developed with a theoretical-exploratory approach, applying methods such as the file and the study of jurisprudence. The academic preferences of law students were analyzed, identifying subjects of greater affinity through an information sheet, the application of this has been essential to clarify doubts of future professionals, managing to recognize their skills in these disciplines. In this academic work, the need to improve transparency and equity in the judicial system, the teaching of law with a practical approach and linked to the SDGs: improving the training of lawyers committed to justice and sustainable development.
