Abstract

Abstract: The study focuses on the academic preferences of Law students and their connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the analysis of judicial rulings. The SDGs are global targets to address challenges such as poverty, gender equality, the environment, and justice. Understanding the preferences of students in specific areas of Law is essential for designing educational programs that encourage alignment with the SDGs. Examining judicial rulings related to specific topics, such as human rights, the environment, or gender equality, allows students to explore how the legal system contributes to the achievement of the SDGs. This prepares future lawyers to address global issues in a more informed and committed manner. Additionally, promoting legal research and extracurricular activities centered on the SDGs can help educational institutions raise awareness and action around these goals. Ultimately, this research aims to train legal professionals who not only understand the fundamental role of the legal system in achieving the SDGs but also become change agents in promoting a more just, sustainable, and equitable society.
