Abstract

Abstract:This quasi-experimental study aims to determine whether the use of a magical creature sketchbook promotes the development of skills in twelve-year-old students. The intervention was carried out over a planned period of eight academic weeks, which included a diagnostic phase using a Likert scale (pretest), explanatory workshops on the anatomy of magical creatures, and evaluation through the application of research instruments such as the Reynolds and Hickman test (posttest). To this end, a hypothesis was proposed that the implementation of this sketchbook would significantly improve the participants&#39; drawing skills. After applying ANOVA and Welch statistical tests, a p-value < 0.05 was shown, demonstrating considerable significance in the variances of the results obtained in both groups. Therefore, the affirmative hypothesis of the research was accepted.
