Abstract: The research titled; Academic Preferences of Law School Students and their connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the study of sentences where the general objective is To know the factors that come together in the Law School Graduate from UTPL to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and their future specialization in these. For the development of the investigation, the sentence issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador is chosen after hearing a protection action filed against the judges of the National Court of Justice because they violate the right to due process in the guarantee of motivation mentioned above. The ruling is directly related to the rights protected by Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, especially in the section of facilitating access to justice through solid institutions. Investigative work is fundamental and of great help because it makes it easier, through the study of sentences, to know the specific area of law in which you will practice your profession.
