dc.description	Resumen:El presente estudio analiza el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 16, el cual busca promover sociedades pacíficas, justas e inclusivas. El documento analiza su implementación en el contexto ecuatoriano a través del estudio de políticas públicas, marcos jurídicos y el caso Cortez Espinoza vs. Ecuador de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos. La investigación emplea enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos, utilizando técnicas como la revisión documental y el análisis de sentencias. Los resultados evidencian la preferencia de los estudiantes por el Derecho Penal y los Derechos Humanos, destacando la necesidad de fortalecer metodologías prácticas de enseñanza que vinculen la teoría con problemas jurídicos reales. Se concluye la importancia de adecuar la formación jurídica a los retos de la Agenda 2030, recomendando una mayor vinculación entre academia y sector público y privado para fortalecer el cumplimiento de los ODS.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract:This study focuses on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, which aims to promote peaceful, just, and inclusive societies. The document examines its implementation within the Ecuadorian context through the analysis of public policies, legal frameworks, and the case of Cortez Espinoza v. Ecuador before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches, incorporating techniques such as documentary review and case law analysis. The results highlight students preference for Criminal Law and Human Rights, underscoring the need to strengthen practical teaching methodologies that connect legal theory to real-world challenges. The study concludes with an emphasis on adapting legal education to the demands of the 2030 Agenda, recommending stronger partnerships between academia and the public and private sectors to reinforce SDG compliance.	es_ES
