| Description: | Resumen: El presente trabajo de integración curricular tuvo como propósito evaluar el comportamiento físico y mecánico de matrices de terrocemento que incorporan refuerzo fibroso para optimizar su comportamiento mecánico. El objetivo principal fue reducir el porcentaje de cemento, adicionando una fibra reciclada de tipo algodonosa, para optimizar su resistencia a la compresión y la durabilidad del composite. Y con ello, incluir una alternativa sostenible de reciclaje de las fibras y al mismo tiempo conseguir un material de uso constructivo bajo las normas de construcción (ASTM, AASHTO, NTE INEN, ACI). Abstract: The purpose of this curriculum integration project was to evaluate the physical and mechanical behavior of terrocement matrices incorporating fiber reinforcement to optimize their mechanical performance. The main objective was to reduce the percentage of cement by adding a recycled cotton-type fiber to optimize the compressive strength and durability of the composite. This would provide a sustainable alternative for recycling fibers while also producing a material suitable for use in construction under building standards (ASTM, AASHTO, NTE INEN, ACI) |
