Student´s and teacher´s perceptions towards EFL virtual instruction

Abstract

Abstract:Nowadays, virtual instruction has transformed the teaching and learning process on different levels of education. For that, the objective of this research is to analyze students and teacher s perceptions towards EFL virtual instruction. The study was done in Pujilí participants were 30 students of Second year of Bachelor, 10 parents and 2 teachers of the same institution The methodology used for this research was mixed because it employed qualitative and quantitative methods to have a more comprehensive scenario of the research problem. For the quantitative component, three surveys were employed to understand students, teachers, and parents perceptions and challenges in a numerical view. Some of the findings are that, despite the benefits virtual instruction offers to students, it also presents some challenges, including limited opportunities for students to participate, issues with interaction, and problems with instructional materials.
