El uso de herramientas digitales en el aprendizaje de ciencias naturales, en los estudiantes de sexto año de Educación General Básica

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to design a pedagogical proposal based on the ERCA methodology, integrated with digital tools, to strengthen the learning of the states of matter in sixth-year students of Basic General Education of the Eladio Roldós Barreiro Educational Unit. The study was developed under a qualitative approach, based on the analysis of the educational context, through interviews with teachers and observation of work in the classroom. The results showed that students have difficulties understanding these contents and show low motivation towards Natural Sciences. In addition, a limited use of digital tools was identified, which influences their participation during classes. Given this reality, the incorporation of resources such as Genially and educational chatbots is proposed, which allow abstract content to be addressed in a more visual, dynamic and interactive way. In response, a monthly teaching plan was designed based on the ERCA methodology, aimed at promoting significant learning, increasing student participation and strengthening pedagogical practices.
