Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzes the implementation of technological tools and digital resources at the middle school level, highlighting their importance as drivers of pedagogical transformation. The central problem is the persistence of traditional teaching models that, despite having digital infrastructure, fail to foster meaningful and autonomous learning. In response to this reality, the study aims to establish strategies that effectively integrate technology in the classroom, recognizing the student as the center of the educational process. The research examines the student's context from a developmental psychology perspective, demonstrating that technology facilitates the transition to formal operational thinking. All of this is framed within the Ecuadorian legal framework, which, through the Constitution and the Organic Law of Intercultural Education (LOEI), guarantees the right to digital literacy. The study concludes that educational innovation requires a reconfiguration of roles and an ethic of digital citizenship that ensures a safe, equitable, and cutting-edge learning environment. The results demonstrate the importance of technological tools for developing improved teaching and learning processes.
