Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the EFL Teaching Training Program

Abstract

Abstract: This document contains relevant information regarding the systematization of teaching experiences, the aim of which was to analyze both the observation process and the teaching experience within the real educational context of Ecuador. To this end, a qualitative methodology was employed, and this document is characterized by an analysis based on first-hand experience. This process involved observing twenty lessons at a public school, as well as delivering ten lessons at another school. During the observation process, it was necessary to complete forms and questionnaires, as well as to write summaries containing detailed information. Furthermore, when teaching a new language, aspects such as planning, the preparation of materials, linguistic aspects, classroom management, and the evaluation of the teaching methodology process were taken into account. These aspects helped in the identification of correct practices of teaching. In this regard, it is concluded that the experience of both processes enabled the identification of both the key aspects of quality English language education and the various ways of appropriately addressing educational contexts. Thus, this provides students with a clear and concise understanding of their education and teachers with tools to reach all levels of knowledge.
